Gardaí in Cork have confirmed that a homeless man has been found dead in the city.
It is understood the man was found dead on Lower Oliver Plunkett Street at approximately 1:30pm this afternoon.
Gardaí say they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination in order to determine the cause of the man’s death.
They added that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
