A young woman who was diagnosed with cervical cancer which spread to her to heart, lungs and liver has sadly passed away in hospital.
According to The Irish Mirror, the young woman Alice Taylor, 26, from the Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny sadly passed away at St Vincent’s Hospital on Friday.
Ms Taylor who set up a GoFundMe page in order to fund a trip to New York in order to get potential life saving treatment had reached just over €100,000 in her goal to reach €150,000.
The news of Alice’s tragic passing was sadly confirmed by her family over the weekend.
