Gardaí in Co Wicklow have sadly confirmed that a 23-year-old man has died following a road traffic incident on Monday.
It is understood the man was killed after he came off his motorcycle at Hillbrook lower near Carnew at approximately 2pm on Monday afternoon.
Gardaí say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Naas General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
They have also appealed for anyone with any information in regards to the incident to come forward and contact them at Baltinglass Garda Station on 059 6482610.
