Gardaí in Co Tipperary have sadly confirmed that a man who was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening has sadly died in hospital.
It is understood the 39-year-old man died at South Tipperary General Hospital on Friday due to the extent of his injuries.
Gardaí say the man who was a pedestrian was struck by a lorry on the N24 at Knockanore, near Clonmel, at approximately 6.30pm on Tuesday 27 November.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
