Gardaí in Dublin have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 30s has died following an accident at Dublin Port on Wednesday afternoon.
It is understood the man tragically died at Dublin’s Mater Hospital after he was involved in an incident at Ocean Pier at approximately 11:30am on Wednesday morning.
Although the man was rushed to hospital following the incident Gardaí confirmed that the man died a short time later.
Both the Gardai and the Health Safety Authority have confirmed they have launched an investigation into the incident.
