Gardaí in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 70s has died following a farming accident over the weekend.
It is understood the man sadly died following an incident on a farm in Ballinhassig, on Saturday evening.
Gardaí say the incident is believed to have involved a bull and the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
