Gardaí in Dublin have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 30s has died after being struck by a bin lorry.
It is understood the man was killed after he was struck by the lorry Dún An Óir, Oldbawn in Tallaght, on Thursday.
Gardaí say Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
