A 45-year-old man tragically lost his life while working at a concrete making plant in Gorey, Co. Wexford.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident have not been revealed, but it is understood that he was operating a digger at the Casey Concrete grounds when the accident occurred, at around 3pm this afternoon.
It’s not the first time that a fatality occurs at the facility. A few years ago, another worker lost his life after being crushed by machinery.
