Gardaí in Dublin have sadly confirmed that a 24-year-old man who was involved in a major crash in the city two weeks ago has died in hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
The man who has not been named was one of six people injured when a car went out of control and collided with four male pedestrians on Adelaide Road in the city centre on 22nd August.
The incident which also seen two women injured is still under investigation by Gardaí who say the incident was a tragic accident.
It is understood the man died in Beaumont Hospital earlier today.
