Gardaí have confirmed that a motorcyclist has sadly died following a crash on the M1 motorway.
It is understood the man aged in his 30s was killed following a single vehicle collision on the northbound carriageway at Junction 6, near Balbriggan.
Gardaí say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
