Tragic news before Christmas as an elderly woman aged in her 90s has died following a crash between a car and a truck in Co Cork.
The crash happened on the N20 at Clough Lucas, Mallow shortly before 1pm on Thursday afternoon.
The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital, where it’s been confirmed that she later died.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened this morning.
