Tragic news from Sligo today as a father and a son died following a fire in their apartment in Sligo town.
Emergeny services rushed to Market street in the town at 5am where they discovered the men, aged in their 30s and 60s, and took them to Sligo University Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
A technical examination will be carried out early next week.
