Gardai in Co Waterford have confirmed that a teenage boy has been killed following a workplace accident on Wednesday.
It is understood the boy was fatally injured in an accident involving a dumped truck.
The incident which has led to an investigation occurred in the Hacketstown area of Old Parish,
Gardai say the Health and Safety Authority have been notified and investigation is currently ongoing.
