Gardaí in Co Meath have sadly confirmed that a teenager has died following a farming accident over the weekend.
It is understood the 18-year-old man sadly passed away whilst carrying out repair work on a vehicle on a farm in Kellystown, near Slane.
Gardaí say the teenager sustained serious injuries and he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident.
