Tributes have poured in for a Monaghan man who is believed to have tragically fallen into a slurry pit and died as a result.
The accident occurred in Threemilehouse, Co. Monaghan, yesterday afternoon. It’s understood that the alarm was raised immediately.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident, but tragically were unable to revive the man and it’s understood he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tributes have poured in across the county of Monaghan where people say the man was a hard working gentleman.
