Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that an investigation has begun after two men were tragically killed in a house fire in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood two men aged in their 70s and 30s were killed after a fire broke out at a house in Tully East, Kildare Town, at approximately 2.40am this morning.
Gardaí say three units from the local fire service attended the scene to extinguish the blaze but unfortunately they were unable to rescue the two men.
