Gardai in Co Westmeath have sadly confirmed that a woman has died following a road traffic collision.
It is understood that the woman aged in her 20s was killed following a single vehicle collision on the L1122, Ballinagore at approximately 8:15pm.
Gardai say the woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
