Tragic news this evening, as a woman in her 50s has sadly lost her life in a road crash in Co. Sligo.
The woman was riding pillion on a motorcycle that collided with a car on the N16 (Sligo to Manorhamilton road), near Drumkinsellagh, Co Sligo. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle was seriously injured in the collision and was rushed to hospital.
