The search for 27-yr-old Dublin man Cian McLaughlin who is missing in Wyoming is sadly being scaled back following an extensive operation in the Grand Teton National Park.

Cian was last seen on Tuesday June 8th on a hiking trail in the park, where he was spotted hiking on the Garnet Canyon Trail, just above the Garnet Canyon/Surprise Lake junction.

Cian’s car was found parked near the Lupine Meadows trail head at the National Park after his employer said he didn’t show up at work.

The Grand Teton Park Service announced that following days of extensive ground and aerial searches, the operation is now being scaled back. It’s not stopping the search but it is scaling it back. There is some 70km long, 40km wide and 300,000 acres to search.
