The search for a Dublin woman Sheila King, who had been reported missing on St Stephen’s Day has sadly been stood down, following the discovery of a body.
Gardai previously had issued an appeal for the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of the 49-yr-old woman, who was last seen in the Raheny area at around 2.20pm on Thursday.
Family and friends expressed concerns for her well-being at the time and in an update, gardai have confirmed that the search has been stood down following the discovery.
They thanked the public for their help in the search.
