While not actually doing anything practical about it, Transport Minister is ‘appealing’ for both sides in the dispute to come together and hold 11th hour talks in an effort to avert the strike.
Bus will last depart tonight at 9pm and will then remain idle for 48 hours as drivers engage in industrial action over pay and conditions.
A solution remains unlikely at this point, with strike action almost unavoidable.
