Travellers from “Orange zones” will not have to self isolate

The Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has confirmed that travellers from “Orange” zones will no longer have to self isolate.

In an announcement Ryan confirmed that the new guidelines will come into effect from Sunday.

Under the new rules those travelling from EU countries deemed orange under the traffic light system will no longer have to self isolate for 14 days.

However those arriving from so called Red Zone will still have to self isolate for 14 days.
