Tragically authorities in Spain have confirmed that the 3-yr-old Irish boy who was involved in a swimming pool incident on Monday has died in hospital.
It’s understood that the boy was found unconscious at the Cabo Roig urbanisation pool in Orihuela, Alicante.
Despite extensive efforts by medical personnel both at the pool side and in hospital, the little boy tragically passed away on Tuesday, the Spanish Civil Guard confirmed.
He has been named locally as Avery Greene from Mallow in Co. Cork.
