A teenage boy passed away in Co Cavan as a result of an incident at work, reports Breaking News.
Emergency services and Gardaí arrived on the site soon after 4.30pm on Thursday.
At the scene, the 17-year-old was declared deceased, reports Breaking News.
His body has been sent to a mortuary in Cavan, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled to occur.
The event has been reported to the Health and Safety Authority, and a case will be created for the Coroner’s Court, according to the Gardaí, reports Breaking News.
