A six-year-old girl who was critically hurt in a car accident in County Westmeath last week has passed away, reports RTE.
At around 4 p.m. on February 8, there was a collision on the eastbound M6.
The girl passed away yesterday at Temple Street Hospital after suffering severe injuries in the collision, reports RTE.
A nine-year-old kid and a guy in his 40s were the other two passengers in the car, and neither of them suffered any major injuries in the collision.
The Garda have sought for witnesses once again, and anybody with information is requested to contact any garda station, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or Mullingar Garda Station at 044-9384000, reports RTE.
