Gardaà are appealing for witnesses to the fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred in Myshall village shortly before 5.30pm on Monday, reports Breaking News.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.
The coroner has been informed, and the woman’s remains have been taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
