The Fair City actress Jean Costello who played Rita Doyle for some 24 years in the RTE soap has sadly died.
Her sister Sylvia Murray confirmed the news to Dublin Live and also posted about her sister on Facebook, paying tribute to her.
A post on Facebook reads: “All my love. Jean was a lady. At least she’s up there now keeping my nanny company, our two angels.”
Jean played Rita Doyle who was married to Jimmy Bartley’s character Bella Doyle.
