Tributes paid to man (50s) who has sadly died in Wexford crash




A man in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle road traffic accident in Co Wexford on Saturday, March 15th, reports Breaking News.

The incident, which involved a motorcycle, took place at approximately 6.50pm on a local road in Poulpeasty, near Taghmon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene, where the motorcyclist was pronounced dead, reports Breaking News.

His body has since been transferred to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled.

No other injuries have been reported, reports Breaking News.

As of Sunday morning, the road remains closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to carry out an examination.

Local diversions have been put in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They are also requesting that any road users with camera footage, including dash cam recordings, who were in the area between 6pm and 7pm, make it available to investigators, reports Breaking News.
