Tributes paid to man, who has died following road crash which also claimed life of pregnant woman

A man has died after a serious road traffic collision that had already resulted in the deaths of a pregnant woman and her baby.

Police said the man, who was in his 30s, died following a crash involving two cars near Nutts Corner in Crumlin on Sunday afternoon, reports Breaking News.

Cathrene Kith Quinones Singco, also aged in her 30s, passed away on Monday.

Police confirmed that she had been pregnant and that her baby also died as a consequence of the collision, reports Breaking News.

On Tuesday evening, police said the man, who had been a passenger in one of the vehicles and had been critically injured, died in hospital.

They said several other people suffered minor injuries in the crash between a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb on the Moira Road at around 2pm on Sunday, reports Breaking News.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact detectives.

“We are investigating what happened and require the public’s assistance with our inquiries,” a police spokesperson said, reports Breaking News.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any dash-cam footage of the road at the time which could assist with our investigation, please contact us in the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 735 11/01/26,” reports Breaking News.
