Tributes paid to man who sadly died after collision between quad bike and motorcycle in Co Westmeath




In Co Westmeath, a quad bike and motorbike collided, killing a man in his 20s and injuring two other persons, reports Breaking News.

Around 3:30pm on Sunday, the crash happened in Ballynascarry, Finea, Co. Westmeath.

The driver of the quad bike, a male in his 20s, was declared deceased at the site, reports Breaking News.

His remains have been sent to Midland Regional Hospital’s mortuary in Mullingar.

There will be a postmortem examination.

The man in his 20s who is riding a motorbike is critically ill at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, reports Breaking News.

Due to non-life-threatening injuries, the male quad bike passenger, who was in his 20s, was sent to the hospital.

There were no other recorded injuries, reports Breaking News.
