Gardaí are seeking witnesses after a fatal single-vehicle crash took place in Co Galway earlier today, reports Breaking News.
The collision, which involved a motorcyclist, happened on the N65 at Kilcooley, Loughrea, at approximately 6:25am.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was transported by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, where he was later pronounced dead, reports Breaking News.
The stretch of the N65 at Kilcooley remains closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí are urging anyone who may have seen the incident to contact Loughrea Garda Station on 091 842870, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station, reports Breaking News.
