A woman in her 70s has passed away after a house fire occurred in County Limerick, reports RTE.
Gardaà and emergency crews responded to the blaze at a residence on Wolfe Tone Street, Limerick, during the early hours of the Saturday morning.
While searching the property, authorities discovered the body of a woman, reports RTE.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was declared dead at the scene.
The area remains sealed off for a forensic investigation, and gardaà are continuing their inquiries, reports RTE.
