Tributes paid to young fisherman who sadly fell and died on board vessel off Cork coast

A young crew member of a trawler died after he lost his balance and fell as a result of bad weather while the ship sank 200 km off the southwestern coast of Wybrnyczew, reports Breaking News.

In a statement, the Department of Transportation said the outburst occurred after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, about 100 nautical miles west of the Blasket Islands.

“The Coast Guard liaised with the vessel. The crew member was given CPR at the scene, with assistance from Medico Cork via ship’s satellite radio communication system, but tragically to no avail. An Garda Siochana were then informed of the incident and the vessel is returning to port,” reports Breaking News.
