A 50-yr-old cyclist has died in a road accident in Co Sligo, reports Breaking News.
Sligo Gardai attended the scene of a road traffic incident involving a cyclist shortly after 11.30pm on Wednesday night in Pearce Road, Sligo.
The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was found on the cycle path with serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Sligo University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, reports Breaking News.
The local coroner has been notified and an autopsy will be arranged.
