Tributes have poured in as Ireland’s oldest person has sadly passed away at the age of 108.
According to RTÉ News, Mary Coyne from Co Roscommon sadly passed away recently.
Mary who was given a centenarian medal by President Michael D Higgins was a resident of the Áras Mháthair Phóil Community Nursing Unit in Castlerea.
It has been confirmed that Mary’s funeral service will take place at St Patrick’s Church in Castlerea on Wednesday.
