According to RTÉ News, Mary Coyne from Co Roscommon sadly passed away recently.
Mary who was given a centenarian medal by President Michael D Higgins was a resident of the Áras Mháthair Phóil Community Nursing Unit in Castlerea.
It has been confirmed that Mary’s funeral service will take place at St Patrick’s Church in Castlerea on Wednesday.
