An 11-yr-old Irish girl died in Majorca, Spain, after falling over a hotel balcony, reports RTE.
She died instantaneously when she fell from the balcony early this morning, the Spanish Civil Guard confirmed to RTÉ News.
Her death is being handled as an accident.
The family was scheduled to travel to Ireland today, and the girl was lodging with them at the Club Mac Hotel in Alcúdia, Majorca.
The matter is being monitored by the Department of Foreign Affairs, which is also offering consular support, reports RTE.
