A number of tributes have poured in for a retired priest who sadly passed away following an incident in Co Galway on Thursday evening.
The tributes come as the priest aged in his 70s sadly passed away after his car went into the water at The Quay area of Kinvara.
It is understood the vehicle was recovered from the water at approximately 9pm and the man was taken to University Hospital Galway.
However Gardaà confirmed that he sadly passed away a short time later.
