After a woman died in Gorey, County Wexford, a man was taken into custody, reports RTE.
Shortly after 3am this Thursday, gardaà and emergency services were summoned to an incident at a property in the Baile Eoghain region, where they discovered the lady, who has been identified locally as Paula Lawlor, 32, unconscious.
At the scene, she was declared deceased, reports RTE.
A man in his 30s is being held at a garda station in the country’s east after being arrested in relation to the event.
Investigations are underway, according to the GardaÃ, reports RTE.
The Garda Technical Bureau will conduct a technical analysis of the site.
For a post-mortem examination, Ms. Lawlor’s body was sent to University Hospital Waterford, reports RTE.
