
A 20-yr-old woman has died following a road traffic collision in Co Tipperary, reports RTE.
The crash, which involved two cars, took place on the Dromineer Road outside Nenagh at around 9pm last night, reports RTE.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was later transferred to University Hospital Limerick, reports RTE.
The driver of the second vehicle was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further care.
The road remains closed while Gardaà carry out a technical examination, with diversions currently in place, reports RTE.
Gardaà are appealing for witnesses, as well as any road users with dash-cam or other camera footage, who were travelling on the R495 Nenagh to Dromineer Road between 8.15pm and 9.15pm to come forward, reports RTE.
