After the death of a 10-yr-old schoolgirl from County Cork, tributes have been pouring in, reports The Mirror.

Following a brief fight with cancer, Nicole Tudor of Mahon passed away “peacefully in the arms of her daddy” and under the “wonderful care” of the personnel at the Puffin Ward at Cork University Hospital.

Nicole’s father, Nicolae, reared her. When his daughter became unwell in April, he took her to the Crumlin Children’s Hospital, where the physicians gave them the diagnosis. The family was informed that Nicole’s cancer was terminal shortly after the first diagnosis.

Nicole, a 10-year-old student, tragically died in the hospital on Wednesday “after a long battle that she never gave up on,” according to her family, reports The Mirror.

‘A beautiful youngster’ who was ‘full of pleasure’ is how friends and relatives have described the courageous elementary school student.

“The most beautifully sweet little girl, it was an honor to have known,” a family friend wrote in a tribute shared online, reports The Mirror.

Another mourner wrote: “Rest in peace beautiful girl. look after your dad, you were so strong and fought the best you could. sleep tight angel,” reports The Mirror.

And another said: “Dear Nicole, I will miss seeing you always out walking with your daddy who you loved so much, you will be greatly missed in Mahon, my thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved you. You are no longer in pain. Rest in peace angel,” reports The Mirror.
