The trolley crisis deepens today, as 542 people are waiting for admission across Irish hospitals. according to official figures.
It is understood that 382 out of those are waiting in overcrowded A&E departments.
Top of the shameful list once again is Limerick University Hospital with 52, followed by University Hospital Galway with 47, and Cork University Hospital with 47.
With winter looming ever closer, the crisis is bound to become a lot worse over the coming weeks.
