In an attempt to undermine US Vice President Kamala Harris in the wake of speculation among some of her fellow Democrats that she would challenge President Joe Biden for the party’s 2024 presidential ticket, Donald Trump’s campaign and some of his supporters have started a preemptive political assault on her, reports Breaking News.
In a barrage of remarks made over the past 48 hours on social media, Mr. Trump’s team and his Republican supporters seem to be preparing an all-out assault on Ms. Harris in the event that the 81-year-old Biden decides to withdraw from the race for reelection after his dismal debate performance last week.
The Trump campaign has little to lose by criticising the vice president now, so if Ms. Harris does become the nominee, she may do so in a compromised position, even though Mr. Biden has stated he is not withdrawing from the race four months before the election on November 5th and Ms. Harris has solidly supported him, reports Breaking News.

Republicans have been harsh on Ms. Harris, 59, on a daily basis while Mr. Biden has been in office, but this week’s assaults marked a sudden and well-planned uptick that seemed to be connected to growing speculation that she will challenge Mr. Biden as the Democratic nominee for president.
She was referred to as Mr. Biden’s “enabler in chief” by the National Republican Congressional Committee, which is in charge of House Republican elections, reports Breaking News.
Meanwhile, MAGA Inc., a super PAC that raises money for Mr. Trump, dubbed her the “invasion czar” in a statement. Mr. Biden said in March 2021 that Ms. Harris would take the lead in efforts to combat illegal immigration with the countries of Mexico and Central America.
Even though she was never personally in charge of protecting the southern border, Republicans have subsequently taken advantage of that to accuse her of failing to stop the millions of migrants entering the country illegally.
“Kamala Harris is not capable. Karoline Leavitt, a spokesman for the Trump campaign, stated, “She has proven to be the weakest, worst vice president in history, and she has 100% supported Joe Biden in every single disastrous policy that he has implemented over the last four years,” reports Breaking News.
