Trump claims to be “exonerated” as Durham probe concludes FBI was “politically motivated to launch Russia collusion probe which has been proven to be baseless, fake news”

The baseless Trump-Russia conspiracy theory, sparked by the forged Steele Dossier, which was paid for by the Clinton Campaign in 2016, is finally consigned to the dustbin of history as Donald Trump’s re-election campaign picks up steam.

The long awaited 300 page long report, which was headed by long-time Federal prosecutor Bill Durham, concludes:

“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report.”

In other words the FBI should never have launched its Trump-Russia probe in the first place.

Trump’s campaign and later presidency was dogged with constant accusations of collusion with the Kremlin and President Putin in particular. This fake news was reported as fact by many major mainstream media outlets in the U.S and internationally as a means to undermine Trump’s presidency.

“Our investigation also revealed that senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities,” Durham’s report goes on to say.

This is an apparent reference to Hillary Clinton campaign-funded Fusion GPS “pee dossier” alleging collusion that the FBI relied on to investigate Trump Breitbart reported.

Despite this, no criminal proceedings are recommended against those involved in this conspiracy to undermine, impeach and frame a sitting U.S President on utterly false charges.
