Trump rally shooting: Trump says that he will ‘fear not’ after shooting

As footage of the shooter before the shooting surfaced, Donald Trump declared that “God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening” and promised to “fear not” following his survival of an assassination attempt, reports Sky.

After the attack at a campaign event, the former president called on Americans to unite in “not allowing evil to win” in a message posted on his Truth Social website.

The incident occurred early on Saturday night while the 78-year-old was delivering a speech to supporters in Butler, Pennsylvania, which is located approximately 30 miles (50 km) north of Pittsburgh. He was hit in the ear by a bullet, reports Sky.

Mr. Trump was saw crouching as gunshots erupted and terrified people yelled.

A photo captured the instant a bullet passed Mr. Trump’s head.

The Secret Service surrounded him in an attempt to protect him, and he was carried off stage in an armoured car that was waiting, his ear cut.

Loud applause and cries of “USA. USA. USA” erupted as Mr. Trump mouthed the word “fight” and pumped his fist in the air in defiance as he exited the platform, reports Sky.
