
A judge in the key US swing state of Pennsylvania has ordered all steps to certify the presidential election to be halted as well as all other election races that took place on the 3rd of November pending an evidentiary hearing this Friday.
Pennsylvania Commonwealth Judge Patricia McCullough ordered the Keystone state to not take any further steps to complete the certification of the presidential race, which the was announced on Tuesday much to the delight of detractors President Trump.
Judge McCullough also blocked the certification of all the other election results from November 3rd stating:
“To the extent that there remains any further action to perfect the certification of the results of the 2020 General Election for the offices of President and Vice President of the United States of America, respondents are preliminarily enjoined from doing so, pending an evidentiary hearing to be held on Friday,”
“Respondents are preliminarily enjoined from certifying the remaining results of the election, pending the evidentiary hearing.”
Judge McCullough is currently presiding over a lawsuit that alleges Pennsylvania’s vote-by-mail stature—Act 77—is in violation of the state’s constitution, a suit brought by Republican lawmakers and election candidates in the state.
President Trump’s legal team lead by Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis and various independent lawyers such as Lin Wood and Sidney Powell are waging litigation in several key states alleging widespread election fraud in favour of Joe Biden.
