British TV presenter Holly Willoughby has caused a stir online after she became visibly upset during a debate about abortion on ITV talk show This Morning recently.
The devoted mum of three has caused a large debate online after she and co-host Philip Schofield interviewed a campaigner who claimed that a foetus is ‘dismembered’ during late terminations. The TV presenter Willoughby became upset after hearing of how late terminations are carried out and what happens to the foetus.
The talk show host was so horrified by Mother-to-be Nilufer Atik comments she was seen putting her hands over her mouth whilst saying ‘oh my god’, Ms Atik further explained that she believed a foetus is ‘literally dismembered inside of you’ during late abortions, adding: ‘I’ve been told they might crush the spine, the skull with forceps.’
Willoughby’s understandable reaction came when she and Ms Atik were discussing abortion with agony aunt Hilary Freeman, in which they debated whether or not they should be performed after the 24th week of pregnancy – the current legal limit.
