Just days after the Marriage Bill was signed into law, TV3 presenter Alan Hughes proposed to his boyfriend Karl live on Ireland AM this morning and he said yes!
During a discussion about marriage equality, the presenter got down on one knee and popped the question.
The pair have been together almost 22 years and celebrated a civil partnership in 2011.
