The Tesla CEO says that he’s withdrawing his planned $44 billion deal to buy Twitter, saying that he needed much more information on the company to see just how many fake or bot accounts Twitter actually has.
It’s not yet known whether the deal will just be dragged out or whether it’s actually dead in the water.
Either way, it appears that Elon Musk has managed to smash Twitter’s share price as a result of the deal.
