Two people have been killed after a gunman opened fire outside a synagogue in Germany a short time ago.
The incident happened in the town of Halle, in the east of the country.
The synagogue was packed with worshippers at the time of the shooting as Jewish people celebrate the Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), the holiest festivity in Judaism.
Local authorities also said that a second shooting in a nearby town may be linked.
