Two Gardai required hospital treatment after coming under attack by a gang of thugs in Dublin last night.
The incident happened in Manor Street in Stoneybatter, in Dublin’s north inner city.
The gardai, a man and a woman on foot patrol, were set upon by a gang of thugs and were taken to hospital as a precaution. They have since been discharged.
